Car Care Body Work is an independent bodyshop working from an established motor trade site in Richborough, on the edge of Sandwich. We do paint and panel — accident repair, resprays, dents, bumpers, alloys and paint correction — and we don’t pretend to do anything else.

The trade has a reputation problem, and most of it comes down to two things: prices that move after the car is in bits, and repairs that look fine in the workshop and obvious in daylight. We work hard on both. You get a written price before we start, you hear from us before anything changes, and every car gets checked in proper light before it goes back to you.

We’ll also tell you when the answer is no. If a claim is going to cost you more in excess and lost no-claims than paying us directly, we’ll say so. If a bumper genuinely needs replacing rather than repairing, we’ll say that too, even though repairing it would be the easier sell.

Most of our work comes from Thanet — Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs — plus Sandwich, Deal and Canterbury. Almost all of it starts as a photo on someone’s phone.
